世界银行与中山大学岭南学院将于2025年5月15-16日在中国广州联合举办第五届基础设施促发展（Infra4Dev）年会。
在此，特向世界各地感兴趣的专家学者征集基础设施领域变革性影响相关论文。论文内容可涉及基础设施投资的经济与社会回报率，低碳交通、自动驾驶对经济影响，颠覆性技术在能源转型中的作用，人工智能和数字化发展的影响，基础设施在支持可持续城市化中的作用，服务创新基础设施投融资环节，能源需求、脱碳和数字基础设施三者之间的关联，基础设施投资更好适应气候变化和增强韧性等内容。
据悉，基础设施促发展系列会议（#Infra4Dev）由世界银行基础设施副行长办公室发起，旨在促进前沿经济研究人员与政策制定者和从业者之间更广泛的对话和交流，以利用基础设施更好促进发展。基础设施副行长办公室工作重点关注能源、交通、城市发展、灾害风险韧性、土地管理等领域，以及基础设施融资和PPP模式等交叉主题。
会议期间将组织开展优秀论文研究、特邀专题研讨以及分组讨论，对学术研讨、当前面临政策挑战以及典型经验进行分享交流。
论文征集活动将于2024年12月31日截止。

The Infrastructure for Development Conference series (#Infra4Dev) is an initiative of the World Bank’s Infrastructure Vice-Presidency, aiming to promote dialogue and exchange between leading edge economic researchers and the wider community of policymakers and practitioners on leveraging infrastructure for development. The Infrastructure Vice-Presidency focuses its work on energy and extractives, transportation, urban, resilience and land, as well as the cross-cutting topics of infrastructure finance and PPPs.
The World Bank and Lingnan College of Zhongshan University, Guangzhou are partnering for the fifth annual Infra4Dev Conference, to be held on the May 15-16, 2025 in Guangzhou, China.
Call for Papers
Accordingly, we are circulating this call for papers to seek submissions from scholars around the world focusing on any aspects related to the transformative impacts of infrastructure, including, among others:
·The economic and social rate of return on infrastructure investments.
·The economic implications of low-carbon, autonomous transportation
·The role of disruptive technologies in energy transition.
·The impacts of growing digitalization and advances in artificial intelligence.
·The role of infrastructure in supporting sustainable urbanization.
·Financing innovation in the delivery of infrastructure services.
·The nexus between energy demand, decarbonization, and digital infrastructure.
·Investment in infrastructure for climate change adaptation and resilience
Program Structure
The program will include a mix of contributed sessions with research papers selected from the submissions, invited sessions, and policy panels where academic findings, policy challenges, and lessons will be confronted.
The deadline for the submission of papers is December 31, 2024.
